Rayburn L. Hastings, 89, of Malvern, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was born on July 18, 1935, in Sandtown, AR, the son of Laman and Juanita Lesley Hastings. Ray was a machinist for McDonnell Douglas, and helped make parts for the first moon buggy. He then went on to own and operate "Ray's Tire and Wrecker Services" for 25 years, and retired from The Malvern Street Department. He was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Malvern.
Ray is proceeded in death by parents, and daughter, Dana Hastings Little; two brothers, Cleburne Hastings and Billy Darrell Hastings.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 26 ½ years, Debbie White Hastings, whom he married on May 23, 1998; daughter, Gina Lowery (Dean); sons, Jason Hastings, Danny Hughes (Summer) and Jeff Otts (Reene'); two brothers, Jim Hastings and Charles Hastings; two sisters, Clyda Keller and Dawana Craig; grandchildren, Miranda Griffin, Michael Lowery, Brett Little (Amber), Dustin Little (Autumn), Parker Little (Lacy), Bailey Little, Keira Hughes, and Tyger Gentry; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8th from 2-4pm.
