Reverend Charles A. Jackson, age 83 of the Antioch Community passed away Sunday July 19, 2026 in CHI St. Vincent-Hot Springs. He was born in Antioch on October 24, 1942, the son of Alfred and Mattie Siratt Jackson. He was a Malvern High School graduate Class of 1962, member of the National Guard. Charles worked for Chamberlain Doors, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Dr Pepper distribution but was a faithful Pastor for 50 years, to Mt. Olive Community Church, Rolla Assembly, Third Assembly, Curtis Assembly of God Churches, and was currently a member of Antioch Assembly of God Church. He loved to garden, singing, reading and just walking around his home place.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Mattie Marie Jackson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Linda Crawford Jackson, children, Melissa Jackson Morgan (Mark) of New DeRoche, Tony Jackson (girlfriend Jessica Jordan) and Josh Jackson (Shannon) all of Antioch, grandchildren, Evan Morgan (Isabella), Carson Morgan, Jorge Mosley, Austen Jackson (girlfriend Elora Rawdah, and Abby Jackson, cousin Sue Jackson and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Thursday July 23, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Antioch Assembly of God Church, followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM with Reverends Danny Bell, Leonard Hodges, and James Sanders officiating, . Burial will follow in Upper Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tony and Josh Jackson, Evan and Carson Morgan, Austen Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers are Abby Jackson, Mark Morgan, CHI ICU Team member James, and Dr. Shane Higginbotham.
