Richard Didion, age 71, of Malvern passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022 at his home.  He was born July 17, 1950 in Erie, Pennsylvania the son of William Howard and Jennie Brosh Didion. Richard was a member of the National Guard and a retired Lieutenant of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Richard was a man of faith who was an example of how to love unconditionally.  He was larger than life and spent his retirement present at all of his grandkids events as their number one fan.  Since retirement he spent many days on the golf course as a member of the Golf Association of Hot Springs Village and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He was an active member of Lifepoint Church and loved watching the Malvern Football games from his legacy seats.    He was preceded in death by parents and four siblings.

Richard is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Janice Didion; daughters, Shelley Korsmeier and Tammy Diaz; son-in-laws, Mark Korsmeier and Andy Diaz;  grandchildren, Samantha Freeman, James Korsmeier, Jensen Diaz, Julian Diaz, Stella Jean Diaz and great granddaughter Olivia Korsmeier; five siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
