Ricky Dale Cody, 63 of Arkadelphia, went peacefully to his heavenly home on May 29, 2023.  His final days on this earth were spent surrounded by his loving family.  He was born to Ronald G. and Carolyn Y. Cody on November 19, 1959. He was a 1978 graduate of Little Rock Central High School. He enjoyed a life-long career in commercial sales.

Ricky truly loved the outdoors and looked forward to annual fishing trips with his friends.  They often referred to themselves as "The Rat Pack".  All of his friends were a huge part of his life and they have stuck beside each other since their teenage years in their clubhouse "The Shed".  His infectious laugh and kind heart were his trademarks.  To know him was to love him and he brought the party wherever he was.  If you were looking for Ricky you would find him watching Razorback Football, the HOGS were his passion.  He also enjoyed playing with his precious little dogs, Itty-Biddy and Ivy and you would always find them at his side.  He was an avid animal lover and often took them in and gave them shelter and love.

His memory will be cherished by his loving mother, Carolyn Y. Carter; his twin sister and best friend, Teresa G. Gogus; his sister, Missy L. Carter-Mikell; his brother, Phillip K. Carter, Jr.; his special friend, Debbi; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends who loved and will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death and greeted in heaven by both of his father's, Ronald G. Cody, Sr. and Phillip K. Carter, and his brother, Ronald G. Cody, Jr.

We invite you to join us and celebrate his life together on Monday, June 5, 2023.  Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern, AR with graveside service immediately following at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Malvern, AR.
