Robert E. Cox Sr. (Bob), 93, of Vilonia, AR went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2023. Bob was born in Malvern, AR on December 12, 1929. He was a Master Electrician, a builder, and construction consultant. Bob was a Shriner, 32nd degree Mason and a US Navy Reservist. He taught Sunday School all of his adult life, the latest for the Bob Millett Bible class of Lakewood United Methodist Church and Vilonia Methodist Church.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Elvon and Ollie Bell Cox, first wife Gilletta (Sue) Cox, brother Lewis Maxwell Cox, and sister Patricia Cox Douglass. He is survived by his wife Vicky Harper Cox of Vilonia; his children Mary (Joe) Richbourg of Sherwood, Robert (Cathy) Cox of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; and Ernest Cox of Hot Springs Village. Grandchildren, Lori Richbourg Brockinton of Cabot, Aimee Richbourg of Sherwood, Dustin (Jennifer) Richbourg of Beebe, Ashley (Kenneth) Thompson of Fort Aransas, Texas; Cristina (Zach) Paradise of Taipei, Taiwan; Mollibeth (Corday) Cardwell of Orlando, Florida; Laura Cox of Richmond, Virginia; Sheena (Justin) Gordon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Ethan Cox (Hannah) of Hot Springs Village.  He had 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All services will be held at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern, AR. Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM and the funeral will be Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2:00 and burial at Shadowlawn Cemetery also in Malvern.

Pallbearers are Rob Cox, Ernest Cox, Dustin Richbourg, Brett Brockinton, Ethan Cox, and JP Brockinton. We all knew him as Pop, and he was the "fixer" of everything. He loved listening to gospel music and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
