Robert Young, Sr., age 87, of Malvern passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the BHMC-HSC Hospital. He was born October 23, 1934 in Bridgeville, Delaware the son of Charles Joseph and Martha Camac Young. He was retired from Reynolds Cable after many years, loved playing baseball, coaching his sons' baseball teams, but truly loved all sports and collecting coins.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, son, William Young; grandson, Gary Young, Jr. and five brothers and one sister.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Mary Young, sons; David Young, John Young (Diana) all of Malvern, Robert Young, Jr. (Eileen), Gary Young Sr. (Karen) all of Pennsylvania; daughters; Joyce Rynders (Jack) of Magnet Cove and Cindy Dorsey (Johnny) of Malvern; brother, William Young of Florida; sister-in-law, Jeanne Young of Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be Thursday, December 30 at 10:00am at Magnet Cove Cemetery.
