R.D. Davis, age 76, of Malvern, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1949 in Marlo, OK, the son of Oscar Franklin and Maggie Pearl Archer Davis, and was the youngest of seventeen children. He worked as a truck driver for many years, was a hard worker and a songwriter.

R.D. is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, and wife, Cathy Harris Davis.

Left to cherish his memory, his six children, Tony Davis (Beverly) of Lubbock, TX, Shelly Newsom (Pal) of Graham, TX, Rebecca Norwood (Randy) of (Malvern), Kirk Davis (Rebecca) of Indianapolis, IN, Ben Davis (Christy) of Hot Springs, and Jay Davis (Daniela) of Malvern; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and caretaker and friend, Janey Green.
