Obituary

Ruby Dunlap, age 97, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2007. She was born March 8, 1910 in Grapevine, Arkansas the daughter of John and Mary Frances Green. She married Doyle A. Dunlap on October 20, 1928 in Malvern, and was a nurse for thirty-five years. Ruby was an active member of Second Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Pat Brandon of Malvern, and Kay Gray and husband, Steve of Powderly, Texas; grandchildren, Debbie Johnson of Tampa, Florida, David Brandon of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kirk Gray of Ft. Worth, Texas, Karen Rose and husband, Russell of Paris, Texas, and Lisa Melot of Blossom, Texas; great-grandchildren, Halie, Jesse and Sabrina Melot, Lacey Doss, Sarah, Heather, Russell, and Autumn Rose; nieces, Judy Parker and husband, Bob of Benton, Mary Ann Smithers of Shreveport, Louisiana; and nephew, Freddy Johnson and wife, Terri of Hot Springs.

A time of celebration and reflection of her life will be held at Regency Funeral Home on Sunday, June 3rd from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Harp Cemetery with Brothers Edgar Sutton and John Chandler officiating.
