Ruth Elizabeth (Waller) Main age 104 of Malvern went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday June 18, 2024. She died at her home, lovingly surrounded by her family.
She was born July 12, 1919, to Jean Elroy and Ida Viola (Wyles) Waller in Ephrata, Washington. The family later moved to Wenatchee, Washington where Ruth graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1937. She went on to receive a degree in bookkeeping from Western Business College in 1938.
Ruth married Karl Robert Main at Ohme Gardens in Sunnyslope, Washington on September 9, 1943. The couple moved to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1944 at the end of WWII. In 1986, she moved to Arkansas to be closer to her daughter. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, PEO Chap I, and ESA. She loved crocheting, sewing, baking cookies and gardening especially roses.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Karl: son Robert Karl Main, and her brothers and their wives, Melvin Elroy and Beth Waller, Jean Edwin and Arlene Waller, Homer William and Lucille Waller.
Left to cherish her memory: daughter Melissa Beggs (Marty) of Malvern, and daughter -in-law, Nancy McDonald (Drew) of South Carolina. Grandchildren: Karl Main (Elaine), Katherine Main, Ian Beggs (Cheyanne), Evan Beggs (Kerissa) and Elizabeth Zornes (James). Great grandchildren: Malia, Ciana and Aidan Main; Aubrey Moraitis; Michael, Josslyn, Lily, Nathan, and Ruby Beggs; Joseph Vance, Aubrey, and Waylon Beggs, Taylor, and Ryder Trumble; Aria Zornes, and Great-great Granddaughter Hadley Broxson.
Memorial services will be held Saturday June 22, at 10AM in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brian Ferrell officiating.
The Family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Hospice of Hot Springs, Arkansas and their wonderful staff for their loving care.
