With sorrowful hearts and yet a steadfast hope in Christ, we announce that Sadie Ann Otts Farabaugh, 76, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at home on June 25, 2026.

Sadie was born in Malvern, Arkansas, on December 5, 1949, to the late Marvin C. Otts and Naomi Nichols Otts.  She was a 1968 graduate of Magnet Cove High School and earned an Associate Degree in Bookkeeping and later worked at U.S. Bank in Malvern, where she was a dedicated and valued employee.

Sadie was a faithful member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church, where she served the Lord with dedication for many years.  She found great comfort and encouragement in Isaiah 40:31, which held a special place in her heart.  Above all, Sadie desired to glorify God.  Her quiet faith, servant's heart, love for God's Word, unwavering trust in His promises, and steadfast love for her family left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire her family, her church, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sadie could be found at her sacred bunco nights or playing games with her family.  She expressed her creativity through cross-stitch and crafting – a love she shared with her daughter Angela.  She also shared her quiet love of reading with her daughter Karen and could always be counted on for a silly expression whenever a camera was present – also a common and some might say even stronger trait of her son, Aaron.  Sadie enjoyed her puzzles, was solemn, yet spunky enjoying "giving Rick fits" and was beloved by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Naomi Otts; her sister-in-law, Levinna Otts of Malvern; and one grandchild, Samuel Richard Polk of Magnet Cove.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas "Rick" Richard Farabaugh of Glen Rose for 29 years; children, Angela (Michael) Wingfield of Glen Rose, Karen Polk of Mabelvale, Aaron (Jessica) Polk of Magnet Cove, Douglas Farabaugh III of Florida, and Richard Farabaugh of Texas; brother, Ray (Ann) Otts of Malvern; sister, Bonnie Kay (Stephen) Hawthorne of Glen Rose; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1.5 great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Bro. Maxie Haynes, Bro. Dillon Miller, and Bro. Aaron Polk will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Witherspoon, Alex Witherspoon, Hal Hill, Matt Penix, and Douglas Farabaugh.

Honorary Pallbearer is Michael Polk.
