Roy Samuel Temple Jr., age 88, of Malvern, AR, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in his home. He was born on January 27, 1936 in Coy, AR, the son of Roy Sr. and Maysel Weaver Temple. Sam was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during the Korean War. After the military he worked as a Chemical Engineer and went on to own and operate The Central Country Store on Highway 67 outside of Malvern. He also drove a school bus for Malvern School District. He graduated from Henderson State University.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 30 years, Donna Temple; and brother, Bill Temple.

Left to cherish his memory, daughters, Mia Samantha Anderson and Lisa Pilcher; grandchildren, Sarah Stewart, Sam Brooks, and Spencer Morgan; and nephew, David Temple.
