Sammy Walters, Jr., age 81, of Malvern passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his home.  He was born October 13, 1940, in Malvern, the son of the late Samuel Henry and Emma Jean Dove Walters, Sr.  Sammy enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, the loves of his life.  He also enjoyed watching westerns and his horses and chickens.  He was a truck driver for Acme Brick.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Larry Walters, grandsons, Colby Kesterson and infant twins and son-in-law, Harry Veitch.

Survivors, wife of 43 years, Teri Owens Walters; son, Buddy Walters; daughters, Tracy Veitch and Brenda Kesterson; brothers, Jim Walters (Charlotte), Bill Walters (Sharon), Doyce Walters (Mary Ann), Richard Walters (Judy), Doug Walters (Jo Hart) and Greg Walters; sisters, Joyce Loyd (Danny), Cathy Walters, Theresa Terry (Nolan) and Betty Cotton; grandchildren, Harmony McClung (Shane), Hosston Veitch, Gracie Walters, John Henry Walters, Owen Walters and Christopher Walters; great grandchildren, Addison and Travin Tidwell, Harbor and Havana Veitch and Londyn McClung and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
