Sandra Kaye Phipps, age 85, of Malvern passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Encore Health and Rehab. She was born March 28, 1941, in Cairo, Illinois the daughter of Doyle (R.D.) and Alleene Cooper Kemp. Sandra was a graduate of Malvern High School Class of 1959, and was a homemaker and also worked for Malvern School District in the cafeteria for many years. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and greats, and great-greats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Laney Phipps, brother Harold Kemp, great-great grandson Jadence James, and nephew Jim Barrett.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Beverly Malone (Donnie) of Malvern, Becky Davidson (Matthew) of Magnet Cove; brother, Frank Kemp (Donna) of Bismarck; sister, Karen Davidson of Malvern; grandchildren, Melissa Murdock (Anthony), Matt Malone (Brittany), Heather Penny (Paxton), Harley Davidson, Hannah Banks (Matt); great-grandchildren, Mason Buckley (Iris), Makayla Walker, Micah Murdock, Logan Malone, Kyler Penny, Kash Penny, Lane Malone, Rustin Malone, Brooklynn Banks, Eli Banks, Henley Davidson, Hadley Davidson; great-great-grandchildren, Kentrell Malone, Legend James, and Kyzeir James; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 25, from 10AM until 11AM at Regency.

Funeral Services will begin at 11AM in the Regency Chapel. Burial will follow in Rockport Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Paxton Penny, Matt Malone, Matt Banks, Mason Buckley, Harley Davidson, Logan Malone, Lane Malone, Kyler and Kash Penny, and Eli Banks.

Honorary pallbearers are Brooklynn Banks, Hadley and Henley Davidson, and Rustin Malone.

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church 1427 Jefferson St. Malvern.
