Sharon Yarbrough, 82, of Hot Springs formerly of Malvern passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born July 9, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert Charles and Erma Pearl Rowley Richardson. Sharon was a member of First Baptist Church in Hot Springs. She enjoyed playing golf, quilting and crocheting. Sharon helped fund an orphanage in Africa and was famous for her banana nut bread that she made for all the local law enforcement. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband whom she married on May 23, 1957, Walter Yarbrough and brothers, Alan L. Mast and James Mast.
Survivors, daughters, Katherine Denise Miller (Dan Davis) of Hot Springs, Mary Gretchen Hoffman (Jeff) of Spokane, Washington and Janet Michelle Pace (Raymond) of Batesville; grandchildren, Melody Nelson (Craig), Mandy Jones (Mikel), J.J. Hoffman, Jessica Kiernan (Matt), Joshua Hoffman, Andy Pace (Caitlyn) and Tracy Wildman (Baron); great grandchildren, Noah Pace, Josiah Pace, Walter Wildmon, Maggie Wildmon, Ruger Jones, Deacon Jones, Parker Nelson, Fender Nelson, Gibson Nelson, Paul Reed Nelson, Gretsch Nelson, and Brooklyn Kiernan; brothers, Eric Richardson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Kevin Richardson o Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sister, Dianne James (Bob) of Beaufort, South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4 from 2:00-2:30pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 4 at 2:30pm at Oakridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Nelson, Mikel Jones, J.J. Hoffman, Josh Hoffman, Andy Pace, Baron Wildmon and Matthew Kiernan.
Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff at Lake Hamilton Rehab and David Sanders and Don Rash of Regency Funeral Home.
