Obituary

Shelly Beth Scott Snowden, age 53, of Malvern, passed away on Monday April 1, 2024, in her home. She was born on August 5, 1970, in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Charles and Nancy Cochran Scott. She was a graduate of Malvern High School Class of 1988. Shelly worked as a realtor under Truman Ball and was known and loved by many in her community. She attended The Church of Malvern and enjoyed singing in church and going to women's conferences. She also loved retail therapy, talking with her friends, interior decorating, being an aunt, and was a mentor to many people. She was also a member of the Arkansas Realtors Association.

Shelly is preceded in death by her father, Charles Scott; grandparents, Louis and Ruth Scott, Eunice Hanks and Tomie Cochran.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Lauren Masters (Jesse) of Poyen; mother, Nancy Scott of Malvern; loving fiancé, Tim McCarver of Malvern and his sons, Jordan McCarver (Ski) of Malvern, and Jared McCarver (Grace) of Conway; brother, Daniel "Danny" Scott (Lisa) of Marion, AR; nieces, Blakelea and Carly Scott; special friends, Tessa Murray, Kathie Hansbraugh, Jeanne Wheatley, Kevin Baker, and the her employers at Truman Ball; and her beloved dog, Bianca.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 5th, at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, from 1-2pm with the funeral service starting at 2pm, with Pastor Robert Stevens officiating.

Burial to follow at Rockport Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tim McCarver, Jesse Masters, Kevin Baker, Marc Hansbraugh, Allen Murray, and Jordan McCarver.

Honorary pallbearers are her cousins, Richard Pettijohn, Michael Pettijohn, Paul Cochran, Aaron Scott, Justin Scott, Katie Graham, Tammy Stevens, Stephen Smith, Robert Stevens, and Gina Smith.

Memorials may be made to Morning Star Church – Global Methodist, St. Jude Childrens Hospital, or Arkansas Childrens Hospital.
