Obituary

Shirley Dianne Paine, age 71, of Malvern, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 2, 2025.  She was born October 30, 1954 to the late Raymond and Beatrice (Byers) Robbins.  She worked as a CNA for 16 years and was a member of Gracepointe Apostolic Church in Malvern. She enjoyed spending time at the Malvern Senior Center visiting and playing bingo and was an incredibly gifted seamstress.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Melvin Robbins and John Robbins; sister, Peggy Sue Robbins; and nephew, John Lee Robbins II.

She is survived by her daughter, LaTasha Jones of Malvern; son, Christopher Ivey of Malvern; grandchildren, Heather Davis (Jacob), William Jones, Ashlee, Michelle, and Blaze; great grandchildren, Mikael Bennett, Indi Jones, Charlee Jones, Lucille Jones, and Penelope Jones; sister, Charlotte Cotton (Tommy) of Hot Springs; ex-spouse Leo Paine; nieces, Casey Robbins, Kimberly Bakke, Morgan Diehl, and Teresa Robbins; nephews, David Moore, Randy Moore, and Bryan Robbins.

She was our matriarch, leading us with love and quiet grace, a beacon of Faith and service.  Her spirit was one of adventure, her hands those of a hard worker who could fix anything.  She was capable, sharp-witted with a great sense of humor, and endlessly giving.

In her garden, she found solace nurturing beauty in every bloom.  She waited patiently for her beloved hummingbirds, symbols of joy she cultivated.

Her dedication to family was limitless.  Her love, a constant source of strength.  Though she will be terribly missed, the light of her love remains the compass guiding us forward.
