Shirley Jane Rice Parish, 64, went to join her Bobbydoll at the pearly gates on June 24,2023.  She was born January 20, 1959 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Joseph Clark & Ludie Mae Rice. She has fought a long health battle but is now healed through Christ! She is proceeded in death by her late husband of 41 years, Bobby Joe Parish.

She is survived by her three children, MacKinzy (Ray) Chaney, BJ (Jenni) Parish and Kassy (Scotty) Starr; 10 grandchildren; Gavin, Gage and Gabby Chaney, Jasper, Elina, Oliver and Ilona Parish, Jacob, Anna (Brodie) Belt and Henry Starr; one great grandchild, Haddie Belt and another one the way;  sisters, Pat (Bobby) Bazzell and Sandy (Terry) Taylor; two brother in laws, Larry (Susan) Parish and Lenny (Paula) Parish and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and two very special friends Lynnette Wolf & Sarah Johns.

She attended Millsap School in Texas but later transferred to Malvern High School where she graduated in 1977. While in Millsap, Texas she enjoyed drill team and horses as she won several awards for all those play dates. She made her way up from LPN, to RN to her BSN and enjoyed every minute of her nursing career-her true passion. She was no longer able to work as her health declined, but she was a fighter indeed! In her later years her and Bobby found a new love for golfing. She also enjoyed her Limelife makeup and loved to help others.

Shirley was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern. She loved her grandkids more than anything. She was ready to be joined with her Bobbydoll. He was truly her everything.
