Sidney Lee Kennedy Jr. age 67, of Hot Springs departed from this life on Friday, July 17, 2026. He was born February 7, 1959 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Sidney and Patricia Kennedy. His childhood years were spent in the Arkansas Delta. He was a 1977 graduate of Parkin High School. Sid joined the military as a young man and served 14 years in the United States Air Force. He served in Korean Conflict and Desert Storm.

Sid was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Doug Kennedy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lisa McKim Kennedy; one son, Chris Morrison wife, Morgan; grandchildren, Aidan and Addy Morrison of Hot Springs and Scott Jeannsonne of Portland, Oregon; and a host of family and friends.

Sid was a jack of all trades and handyman extraordinaire. He was employed at the Good Samaritan Society of Hot Springs Village and the Quapaw Bathhouse for many years.

A memorial service will be held in his memory, at 3:00 PM Monday July 20th at Harmony Primitive Baptist Church in Donaldson with Elder Dan Samons officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service at the church.
