Steve Lishbrook, age 72, of Malvern passed away Wednesday February 12, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 17, 1952 in McAlester, Oklahoma the son of Wesley and Clois Freeman Lishbrook. He worked at the Malvern Airport, National Rejectors, but retired from DLM after 30 years.

Steve was a builder, liked motorcross motorcycles, built his own airplane with a snowmobile motor, built rifles, repaired old radios, and built old time record players.

Three words to sum up his life were, caring, happy, and adventurous.

He was preceded in death by his father Wesley Lishbrook, step-dad, Jack Coots, step-mother, Mary Dee Lishbrook, maternal grandparents, Herbert and Etna Freeman, paternal grandparents Thomas and Grace Almendariz, step-brothers Eugene Burks, and Mark Coots, half-sister, Delana Robbins.

Survivors are his mother, Clois Freeman Coots, brother, Roger Lishbrook, step brothers, James Earl Burks, Tim Coots, half sister Stella Channell, nephews, Jonathon Lishbrook (Mary), Doyle Lishbrook, Dylan McCloud, nieces Amy Lishbrook, (fiancé Emmit (Butch) Gillis, Kylie Robbins, great nephews, Axel Gillis, Isaac Lishbrook, Nolan Lishbrook and Declan Thomas, great niece, Madison Lishbrook and numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Monday, February 17, from 6-8PM at Regency.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February18, at 2PM in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother W.A. Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Francois Cemetery.
