Sue "SuSu" Fowler Ward, age 87, of Hot Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 13, 2021. Sue was born November 17, 1933, in Sale City, Georgia the daughter of the late Charlie and Edna Fowler. She worked as a customer service representative for Arlington Hotel, was a nursing home administrator and a mutual teller at Oaklawn. Sue was a wonderful home maker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Malvern. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Travis Harris.
Survivors, sons, William Robert Ward (Martha) and John Charles Ward (Dani); daughters, Suzanne Ward Hammond (Thomas), Debra Ward Puckett (Donald) and Olga Lillian Ward; grandchildren, Brittanie Lowery (Bret), Brooke Ward, Adam Ward, Elizabeth Smith (Kevin), Paige Shuffield, Katy Webb, Tara Madsen (Jason), Travis Puckett (Stacey), Amber Davis (Seth), Dusty Ward, Tiffanie Harper (Dustin) and Holli Harper (David) and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 15 at 11:00am at Regency Funeral Home with Rich and Robi Heffington officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Ouachita Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Puckett, Bret Lowery, Jason Madsen, Seth Davis, David Harper, Dusty Ward and Adam Ward. Junior pallbearers will be Owen Lowery, Gregory Margraf, Carson Madsen, Clark Madsen, Brooks Puckett, Allen Davis, Cash Harper, Slate Harper, Eli Smith and Jude Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Hammond, Don Puckett and Dr. Tim English.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 508 Ouachita Ave Suite A, Hot Springs AR 71901 or the Oaklawn Chapel, PO Box 20564, Hot Springs AR 71913..
Sue's family would like to give a very special thank you to her caregiver, Linda Evans. The family will always remember Linda's kind and special ways.
