With gratitude for a life filled with faith, love and devotion we celebrate the life of Susan Isabell Wesson, age 58 of Bismarck, who passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026.We find comfort in God's promise that she now rests peacefully awaiting the glorious return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on May 19, 1968, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Susan lived a life marked by faith, love, strength and devotion to her family, friends and students. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher and friend whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of so many.

She enjoyed teaching, diamond art, eating lunch with her school buddies, picking at people, funny hats and shirts, going camp and taking trips with Judy and Shelly and treasured time spent with her family.

Survivors are her husband, William Wesson; her mother and stepfather, Jo Ann and Calvin Diffee; her children, Derek & Sarah Wesson, McKenzie & Jeremiah Baswell, Beau Wesson, Alexandria Wesson and Krista Wesson; her grandchildren, Kannon Jones, Cameron Wesson, Alli Wheat, Holly Wheat and Ryan Wesson; her siblings, brother, Jim Karr, stepbrothers, Scotty and Terry Diffee; and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Karr; her maternal grandparents, Reece and Bertie Golden.

While our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and find peace knowing she is healed and resting in the arms of Jesus,

Visitation will be Monday, June 22nd 12 noon until 2:00 PM at Bismarck High School cafeteria. Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Pat Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Golden Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah, Gabriel and Jacob Baswell, Terry McNabb, Luke Falco and Jesse Loe.

Honorary pallbearers are all of her former students she had the privilege of teaching.
