Reverend Temon Jenkins age 92 of Glen Rose went to be with his Lord and Savior, February 10, 2022.  He was born in Glen Rose to John Walter and Era Ann Jones Jenkins. Bro. Jenkins as everyone knew him, loved to garden, raise chickens, fruit trees, read and watch VTN.  Bro. Jenkin graduated with a degree in Theology and started off as an evangelist and spent the next 70 years in the ministry. His ministry led his to Central Church in Malvern then Cabot, Arkadelphia, Grapevine, Curtis Junction, then back to Arkadelphia where he retired. He later returned to Living Water Assembly of God at Glen Rose being his home church.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by wife of 68 years, Geraldine Harris Jenkins, his siblings; Curtis Jenkins, Lois Scarbrough, Annie Yates, Doyle Jenkins, Ewell Jenkins, Faye Kirkpatrick, Ray Jenkins, Olen Jenkins, Daphine Kirkpatrick, and Mary Haberson.

Survivors include sons; Mark Jenkins of Arkadelphia, Timothy Jenkins of Star City, daughters; Elizabeth (Mike) Ebbs of Benton, Becky (Jason) Minyard of Benton, grandchildren; Amy (Rick) Earnest, David (Chandler) Bise, James (Amy) Jenkins, Jessica Minyard, Beth Anne Minyard, Logan Jenkins, Alexandria Jenkins, and Brayson Jenkins, step grandchildren; Michele Cannon and Melissa Ebbs, great grandchildren; Kimbree, Andee, Macee, Charlee, Jonathan, Eleanor and Kali,  and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11:00am February 15, at First Assembly of God Church of Benton, 1801 Hot Springs Hwy, Benton AR with Rev. Gene Huskey, Rev. Don Borland and Rev. James Jenkins officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Fairplay Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Logan Jenkins, James Jenkins, David Bise, Rickey Earnest, Jordan Hawthorne, Jason Minyard, Mike Ebbs and Brayson Jenkins, honorary pallbearers; Lynn Kirkpatrick, Phillip Kirkpatrick, Bobby Jenkins, Bruce Jenkins, Carthel Scarbrough, David Jenkins, and a host of many other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Church of Benton.  The family would like to give a special thanks to nurses and staff at Southern Trace Rehab and Care Center.
