Theresa Dowell, age 72, passed away on October 22, 2023. Theresa was born on March 28, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Toney Lee and Huleta Dowell. She loved the ocean, swimming and was always the life of the party.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gene R. and Jimmie R. Dowell, and sister, Rita Hawkins.

Left to cherish in her memory, sons, Dale Tackitt of Colorado Springs, CO, Chris Tackitt of Benton, AR; brothers, Billy Dowell of Wichita, KS, Richard (Shelia) Dowell of Wichita, KS, Mike (Patricia) Dowell of Bixby, OK; sisters, Joyce Mikesell of Wichita, KS, Patricia Brustrom of Benton, AR, Barbara Reents of Canton, GA, Carolyn (Charles) Goodson of Wichita, KS, and Tonya Carver of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Onyx and Quinn Tackitt, and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
