Thomas Carrol Buie, age 78, of Malvern, passed away Saturday November 15, 2025 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born June 18, 1947 to the late John Thomas and Marjorie (House) Buie. He worked at the State Hospital in security for many years.

He was a member of Third Baptist Church.  He served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Thomas "Johnny" Buie; mother, Marjorie Buie Meddley; step-dad, Wayne Meddley; brother John Mark Buie, and sister, Donna R. Hughes.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cathie Lynn (Cox) Buie; his children, David, Tommy, and Crystal; Cathie's children, Adam Harper (Melissa), Bo Draper (Kaley), and Amanda Freeman (James); Cathie's grandchildren, Eli, Kyleigh, Luke, Kole, and Addi, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday November 19, 2025 at Regency Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday November 19, 2025, at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. Ron Hutson officiating.

Pallbearers are Adam, Bo, James, Luke, Eli, and Kole

Honorary Pallbearers are Southern Caregivers (Ralanda, Bri, and Audreyanna) and CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs ICU staff.
