Tommie J.
Hall
Oct 5, 1941 — May 20, 2024
Malvern
Tommie J. Hall passed away Monday May 20, 2024, at Baptist Health-HSC. She was born in Malvern on October 5, 1941, the daughter of Thomas B. and Toye V. Sheppard Currington Duren. She was a nurse and had worked for many years at HSC Medical Center until her retirement. Tommie was also a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Tommie was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Hall, parents, one brother, Jack Duren, one sister Brenda Barnett, daughters, LaWanda Steele, Jenifer Felty, and Deborah Carson.
Left to cherish her memory are her Brother James Duren (Anne), sister, Kalah Looney, and son Dale Bourland (Karen) all of Malvern, grandchildren: Lendsi Farlee, Dennis, Anthony, and Tommy Bourland, Brandi Hughes, Blake Prather, Abby Carson, Rachel Jennings, Elizabeth Jones, Katie Hall, and Lorna Sutton, Great-grandchildren, Jaylon, Eden, and Ranger Jennings, Hunter, Liliana and Michelle Hughes, Gabriel and Scarlett Jones, Tristan Sutton, Major and Legend Hall, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommie was known as Grandma, Granitom, and Me-Me by the children in her family and her sincere wish was they have fond memories of her and being in her and Wallace's home. She wanted people to feel "special". A Christian since age of 16, she believed in being a good example for our fellow human beings and never be caught "using "another person.
At Tommie's request there will no services planned.
