Velma Sandage, 94, of Donaldson passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.  She was born March 27, 1928, in Donaldson, the daughter of the late James Forest and Nancy May Evans Williams. Velma attended Sardis Primitive Baptist Church and was a member of the HSC Historical Society and the HSC Extension Homemakers for over 50 years.  She was an Avon representative for over 50 years. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, doing puzzles and watching the Razorbacks.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Franklin Sandage; sisters, Martha James, Irene Sandage, Agee Sutton, Mary Johnson; brothers, Eugene Williams and John Russell Williams.

Survivors, son, Ralph W. Sandage and wife, Andrea of Cabot; daughter, Brenda Kratz and husband, Douglas of Malvern; grandchildren, Stacie Highsmith (Doug), Neal Kratz (Sarah), Nathan Kratz (Stephanie), Jessica Parrish (Dan), and Andrew Sandage; great-grandchildren, Jackson Smith, Morgan Kratz, Caleb Kratz, Michael Pasman, Kaylann Hall, Daphne Highsmith, Jacob Parrish, Lila Parrish, Amelia Parrish and Jackson Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 10 from 3:00-5:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Sunday, December 11 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Elder Jesse Stripland and Elder James Winston officiating.  Burial will follow at Ouachita Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be David Sandage, Richard Sandage, Doug Burnett, Terry Williams, John Kline, Doug Highsmith, Jackson Smith and Nathaniel Kratz.  Honorary pallbearers will be Neal Kratz, Dan Parrish, Andrew Sandage, Michael Pasman and Caleb Kratz.

Memorials may be made to the HSC Historical Society.
