Velma Catherine (Pat) Miller age 87, of Fenter, passed away Tuesday July 16. 2024 at Encore Nursing and Rehabilitation in Malvern. She was born on April 7, 1937, in Malvern, AR, the daughter of Elonzo and Hattie Dix on. Pat was member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church and Grant County Homemakers Extension Club. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, planting flowers and was a great cook. She loved everybody, and never met a stranger.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 45 years, Glenn Miller; sisters, Blanche Webb, Lillie Jo Williams, and Lonie Grace Carroll; brothers, Jack Dixon, Billy Dixon and James Ellis Dixon.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Donna Roark of Fenter, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th, from 1:30 - 2:00pm at Lindsy-Poyen Cemetery.

Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm with Bro. Bradley McCool officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to Guy Roark, James Ballard, Randy Milam, Lora Brotherton, Cindy Oden, the staff at Elite Hospice and Encore, and Dr. Bruce Burton.
