Verna L. Wells, 82, of Magnet Cove, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was born on January 18,1942 in Prescott, AR, the daughter of Clyde and Jean Hooker Blevins. Verna was a member of Magnet Cove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher and taught for Malvern, Magnet Cove and Glen Rose Schools. She enjoyed being at home, doing yard work and going fishing.

Verna is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Clyda Franks; and brothers, Gene Austin Blevins and Johnny Blevins.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 57 years, Mike Wells of Magnet Cove; sons, James Wells (Deirdre) of Newport News, VA, and John Wells (Karen) of Louden, NH; sister, Ginger Sexton of Magnet Cove; grandchildren, Sean, David, Mary Amelia, and Martha-Ann Wells, Mazie, Clyde, and Cora Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, from 9:30-11am at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral service starting at 11am, with Bro Neil Redling and Bro. Chris Sexton officiating.

Burial to follow at Magnet Cove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Lindsey Blevins, Warren Smoke, David Hendrix, Robert Goodman, Darren Dyer, and Dennis Veazey.
