Violet Ann Meeks, 80, of Malvern passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at her home.  She was born on December 30, 1941, in Bauxite, the daughter of the late John Virgil and Lillie Agnes Griffis Nicholson.  Violet worked as a CSM at Walmart.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a caregiver to her family.  She was a member of Taylor's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Nicholson and step-son, Scott Weldon,

Survivors, husband, Robert Meeks of Malvern; daughters, Paula George (Kim Wood) of Joplin, Missouri and Karan Pierce of El Paso, Arkansas; step-son, Gary Weldon of Bedford, Indiana and grandchildren, Summer Hill, Sean Lane (Tiffany), Kelsey Lane (Heather), Chase Keisler, Dean Lane, Cylis Hill, Sam Lane, Colbie Lane, Kason Lane, Marley Gossett and Camryn Lane.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26 at 2:00pm at Taylor's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jerry Scroggins officiating.
