Virginia Fisher Crumby, 87, of Malvern passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at her home. She was born October 31, 1934, in Roxton, Texas the daughter of the late William Kenneth and Thelma Matthews Fisher. Virginia loved fishing, camping, singing and being with her grandkids. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Adult Sunday School class and Ladies Auxiliary. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, whom she married on May 6, 1952, Thomas N. Crumby.
Survivors, sons, Larry Crumby (Jane) of Benton, Rickey Crumby (Pam) of Benton and Eddy Crumby (Rhonda) of Malvern; sisters, Billie Francis Walker of Virginia and Dorothy Smith of Mississippi; grandchildren, Kristie Turbyfill (Daniel), Brad Crumby, Angie Geater (Steven), Jesse Crumby (Amber), Megan Burbank, Ashleigh Overturf (Wade), Erin Blakenship (Kaleb) and Ellen Tedder (Jarrett); great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Kinley, Cade, Parker, Kayleigh, Karly, Slade, Payton, Aubrey, Kent, Ryleigh, Fisher, Sadie, Ruston, Harper, Raina, Oaklen and Nathan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 7 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Services will be Friday, July 8 at 10:00am at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Donis Smead, Brother Dale Crumby and Brother Brad Crumby officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brad Crumby, Jesse Crumby, Wade Overturf, Daniel Turbyfill, Jarrett Tedder and Yates Prickett. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons from Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Kaleb Blakenship, Steven Geater, and Cade Turbyfill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 859 Mt. Zion Road, Malvern.
