Walter Rhodes, age 88, of Malvern passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center-HSC.  He was born December 7, 1932, in Cherry Valley, Arkansas the son of the late Claud and Viola Smith Rhodes.  Walter served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He had worked as a millwright at Alcoa and Reynolds and later started Rhodes Camper Sales.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by his wife Bettie Ruth Rhodes and great grandson Michael Rhodes.

Survivors, son, Michael Rhodes (Barbara) of Malvern; son, Jerry Rhodes of Wynn, daughter, Sheila Rhodes of Malvern; sister, Elsie Rooks of Missouri; grandchildren, Eric Byers, Misty Kidder, Matthew Rhodes and Lee Rhodes and great grandchildren, Ashton Rhodes, Austin Rhodes, Micah Rhodes, Joslyne Rhodes, Lucas New, Dillion New, Aryan Rhodes and Alexis Rhodes.

Services will be held Thursday, April 22 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Todd Bray officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Francois Cemetery.
