Wanda Jean Bennett, age 82, of Malvern passed away October 18, 2021.  She was born August 29, 1939 in Checotah, OK to Oscar and Cleta Lackey White.  Wanda was a member of Meadowview Missionary Baptist Church, had worked at Munro Shoes and owned a quilting and sewing business in Malvern for many years.  She also loved to paint.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletis Bennett, to whom she married on March 2, 1957; son, Jeff Bennett; granddaughter, Karissia Bennett; grandson, Jeremy Cooper and her brother Paul White.

Survivors include her children, David (Kathy) Bennett of Malvern, Danny (Marti) Bennett of Benton, Gerald (Karen) Bennett of Magnet Cove and Sharon (Rob) Hart of Jackson GA; grandchildren, Josh (Chasity) Loy, Brad (Emily) Loy, Bo (Emily) Bennett, Colby (Drew) Morse, Rachael Bennett, Ryan Bennett, Savanah (Jason) Black, Janel (Max) Justice, Kelsey Hart (Daniel) and Chance Hart; numerous great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sissy Bennett.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 30 at 11:00am at Meadowview Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Shaun Holland officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00am. A private burial will follow.
