Wanda Owens, age 81, of Malvern, AR, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1943 in Malvern, AR, the daughter of Ova and Pearl Hathcock Cooper. Wanda was a beautician and owned and operated Suds and Scissors for 40 years.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she taught children's church. Wanda was also a member of the AR Archeology Society and was on their Board of Advisors.  She loved to fish, garden, and bird watching.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carol Jean Owens; and brothers, Lewis and Gene Cooper.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 61 years, Allan Owens of Malvern; son, Michael Owens (Glenda) of Malvern; grandchildren, Kaylie Owens and Austin (Carli) Owens; great-grandchild, Logan Owens; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 4th, from 2-3pm at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral service starting at 3pm, with Bro. Mark Thornton officiating. Burial to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Austin Owens, Kaylie Owens, Kevin Whitley, Jacob Whitley, Lance Walters, and Phillip Reed.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Burris, Chris Couch, Zac Couch, Daniel Robinson, and Aaron Griffin.
