On April 22nd, 2025 Bill Keith's faith became sight. Bill was a wonderful husband, provider and caregiver for his late wife, Janice Keith, who passed on April 6, 2023. They are now reunited in heaven after almost 59 years of marriage. The majority of those years were lived in the house they built together on Pinehurst Drive in Malvern.  Bill was also a father, grandfather and great grandfather (affectionately known as "Pop") who personified Ephesians 2:10: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Bill is now reunited with several family members he dearly missed, including his mother and father, his brother and sister.

Bill was multi-talented in many ways.  He was not only a long-time Sunday school teacher (he taught the high school boys for many years) and deacon at Second Baptist Church, he was the resident expert with his engineering knowledge at Reynolds Metals and Willamette Industries (later Weyerhaeuser). He was the consummate provider, working long hours whenever necessary so that his wife, daughters and son would have what they needed.  He never complained about having to be "at the plant" for many long hours, in a different state, or even overseas with his work. He was always glad to be home with the ones he loved whether attending a choir concert, ballgame, or whatever his children were involved in.  He always played a huge role in the lives of his kids.

Bill was known for helping others in the community, not for the recognition he would receive, but because people needed help. Whether he was helping to build or expand a church, hanging a ceiling fan for an older person, fixing an AC unit or rewiring a house, he never expected payment and rarely accepted any.  There were very few things he couldn't fix and he was known for his intelligence and ability to problem solve and create solutions, whether at work, home or in the community. Bill was most definitely a "behind the scenes" kind of guy.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife - Janice Keith, parents - Louis and Helen Keith, his brother - Raymond Keith, his sister and brother-in-law - Glen and Marcille Coston, and brother-in-law - Doug Rice.

Bill is survived by his children – Kellye Albey (Mark), Karen Robinson (Mark), and Kent Keith (Angie); his grandchildren – Lauren Vavra (Brian), Lawson Albey (Shay), Reid Robinson, Lane Ross Albey (Alyson), Rhett Robinson (Juli), Rose Robinson, and Kate and Harper Keith; great grandchildren – Vivian and Paxton Vavra, Greer, Pearl and Joan Albey; his sister Martha Rice and brother John Bruce Keith (Judy) and many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 1st at Regency Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.  Services will be held Friday, May 2nd at 1:00 PM at Second Baptist Church in Malvern with Brother Terry Whitley officiating along with his grandson Lawson Albey.

Pallbearers are - Mark Albey, Mark Robinson, Lane Ross Albey, Brian Vavra, Reid Robinson and Rhett Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers are - Bobby Gilbert, Marlon Whitley, Clif Crawford and the team of caregivers at Divine Home Care of Benton (Sara and Alberto were extra special to Bill)
