Ruby Inglis, 81, of Noble, Oklahoma passed away February 29, 2008 at Norman Specialty Hospital. She was born December 28, 1926 in Malvern, Arkansas the daughter of Willie and Eva Shuffield. Ruby has lived in Noble since 2002, coming from Lexington. She was raised and attended school in Malvern, Arkansas. On August 15, 1943 Ruby and John Inglis were united in marriage in Malvern. Ruby was a homemaker, enjoyed canning, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Shuffield.
Survivors are her son, Marvin Inglis and wife, Myrna of Noble, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michael Inglis, Andria Otts, Austin Inglis, and Jonathan Inglis; eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
Services were held Monday, March 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Wadley's Funeral Chapel in Purcell, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery in Malvern, Arkansas on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m.
