Vernice Paul Heard, age 88, of Malvern, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born February 02, 1929 in Malvern to the late James E. "Pete" Paul and Mordica (Cunningham) Paul. She was a 1947 graduate of Malvern High School. She worked at Brosell Department Store, Arkansas Forestry and County Treasurer. She wore many hats but her favorite name was always Mother and Me-Me. Home was always Malvern where she built her home on Dyer Street August 4 ^th , 1971 to present. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oren Keith Heard whom she married December 19, 1956, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors are her son James David Heard (Kim) of Malvern, daughter Karen L. Wunderlich of Malvern, brother Elton H. Paul, Sr., grandson, Shawn Wunderlich (Leslie), great-grandchildren Layla, Ryley and Keith Wunderlich, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2017, 5:00-7:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00 am at Brush Creek Cemetery.
